I was thinking that this individual butte had a name. It&#039;s right by the visitors center and I seem to remember a sign that told the name. I could be mistaken though.</description>

Otherwise, I have some literature around here somewhere, that may have specifics.  I&#039;ve been down to the SD Badlands twice now, in consecutive years.  Great area for hiking!
